haha - alright... maybe if I asked it in a slightly different way...
after hooking it up a fat 32 drive to my linux box, how do I map a full
image of everything that was on the drive, and copy that image to hda1
(recovering any text documents with something like star office
afterwards)? I know that if data is deleted on a linux drive it *is*
possible to recover it... it is all to do with addressing. I remember
reading how to do that a couple of years ago in some linux periodical or
other. All that happens is that there is no longer a reference to it,
but the data is still there.
Are there any specific linux tools to do this with?
