[Sheflug] BT Broadband

Sorry to be off topic.

I have had to go to BT broadband in order to get a free transfer from ISDN. I 
am finding the connection is reliable during the day and drops around 4.30 to 
5.00 in the evening. I am then lucky if I can get connected until past 9.00 
(2100hrs). The weekends are Saturday a waste of time looking connection after 
mid-afternoon and Sundays seem to be the same.

The regularity of the timing seems to tell me this is all to do with BT's side 
of things.... But, of course they tell me that it has to be a problem at my 
end. "Using what sir! Linux!!! ahhhhhhhhh...."

I was wondering what the experience of others in the Sheffield area is 
regarding BT broadand?

If anyone knows that the problem is probably related to my system, I am using 
(Suse 9.1 over a wired connection to a Netgear firewall router), I would of 
course be greatfull for a 'cure'.
