[Sheflug] Netbooks: who's got on, and how has it been?

List members:

By 'netbook' I'm referring to the new sub-notebook computers that have  
appeared in the 9 or 12 months - Asus eee, Acer Aspire One, MSI Wind/ 
Advent 4211, etc. I believe that several members of this list have got  
one of these, and may have installed different OS software on them.

So: can I ask those who have got one to reply with details? Make,  
model, and currently-installed OS would be excellent. If you've  
changed the OS then an account of any issues that arose during that  
operation would be useful.

Also any history of dealing with general issues related to these  
devices. For example, I've heard that there was an 'upgrade' to the  
Eee that killed wi-fi: is that true? If so, what then? Here's another  
one: I've read that the touchpad on the MSI Wind / Advent 4211 has  
changed, and that there may be Ubuntu driver issues with the new  
touchpad. Anyone got any experience?
