Personally, I have a devil of a job with colour! I use Corel Photopaint
for doing my simple graphics hacks and it uses an ICC (?) profile to try
to correct colour differences which means that what I see on screen in
Photopaint often bears little resemblance to what I see on a browser on
the same system! Colour rendition can also be affected by the colour
temperature an individual user has their monitor set to, so I suspect
it's just a case of having to put up with the variation. Probably the
only colour you can sensibly rely on is black, because even white can
vary, and black's not that consistent either when I think about it...

It could be worse. My support tech here is colour blind and can't
distinguish the colours in a CAT6 cable so he can only wire up CAT5.
