[Sheflug] Mail servers

Hi all,

For a variety of reasons I'm looking into getting my own domain. I
plan to use it principally for email, I'm not really interested in web
space or much else at the moment, just a few email addresses.

Doing this cheaply seems problematic. Has anyone tried to do this? At
one end I might be able to run a mail server at home and just register
the domain, but what happens when my ADSL is down?. At the other end
is renting a VM from somebody from like bytemark for £15 a month,
which is not cheap.

Any suggestions?
