[Sheflug] NTL and email addresses
This is a repost so lets see if it gets through this time
Through a job application I had to send an email to a
Susanne.Moeßbauer@XX.com that garbled mess is a German "sz" if things
are looking funny.
NTL's smtp server rejected it as an invalid email address as it
contains control characters. I was wondering if anyone knew which
characters are illegal in e-mail addresses and in which part?
I think I remember reading that you can now get multi byte domains
Also has anyone out there got NTL's smtp server to relay there mail. It
just seems to send mine into a black hole somewhere
Simon.
