As well as changing /etc/fstab you'll need to edit /etc/lilo.conf and
run lilo, or tell lilo which partition to boot from at the start via
the command line:
(If image is linux, and the root partition is now hda5)
at LILO: type
linux root=/dev/hda5
That'll let you boot to mess with everything. Once you've rerun lilo,
with the updated config you shouldn't need the "root=" bit.
