Thanks, Alex - I will read it. haha - I am dual booting at the moment, so it
seems to take forever to shut one opperating system down, and boot the other.
If I can get mail& internet working under linux, it will speed things up a
little.
Thanks for the script you gave me Baz - it seems to work. The modem does not
hang up now; the word 'connected' remains on kppp. I got quite excited for a
few seconds... however, after running netscape, every url I give gives me the
error 'server not available - check the address' or something lke that. Where
is the script kept that tells browsers to use the modem? I get the feeling it
is trying to use my ethernet card.
