Nah - the constant reinstallations will make it easier the next time
you do 'rm -rf /' by mistake as root :-)

Once you've figured out how to get the modem running under Caldera,
you've pretty much figured it out for every other distro.
At the most a few files have different names, or reside in slightly
different subdirectories, but it's all much and such.

Erm - IIRC that's ancient Debian.

Woody (3.0) is on it's way to stable status (/me can't wait), but the
current stable version is Potato (2.2)
