I think its fair enough redhat protect their trademark, i.e. you cant
distribution redhat software using redhat trademarks, this does not
prevent you repackaging redhat software under GPL without using redhat
trademarks.
as to this chap not getting a response to issues on trademarks redhat do
give quite detailed description of this at

in particular

which seems to indicate that they respect the GPL
I have to say though that redhat do seem to be doing a lot these days
things that make them unpopular at the moment..
By the way is it true that SUSE don't allow you to download ISOs for
their distribution and isn't this a little more annoying, at least I can
(for the moment) do this with redhat?
