[Sheflug] thunderbird auto default smtp server change on dial up vs office lan
Slightly OT as its a windows based laptop but the s/w I'm asking about is
O/S and available for Linux so I thought I'd ask anyway:
I've just installed Thunderbird on a new laptop for one of our staff
members. When they are in the office I want them to use our local SMTP
server. When they are out of the office and on dial up I Want them to use
the ISP SMTP relay. They can't see the SMTP relay when on the LAN in the
office (that would have been nice!) Anyone know how I automatically and non
interactively set the SMTP server in Thunderbird so that the user doesn't
have to do anything to get it to switch to the correct server?
