If it helps at all, my mobos got a Promise "RAID" thingy in it that lets me
toggle between RAID or IDE usage for it. In the IDE setting it works
perfectly well under Linux, with one exception. According to cdrecord the
only SCSI-ish item on it is the Zip drive, and the CD Writer doesn't show up
at all... Bit of a pain, but I'll work it out when I get time between
workloads :)
