I joined this list because me being based in Derby, it seemed to be the
most local. I've heard the occasional alarming report about one or two
other lists so it seems I chose the right one. :-)
WRT to muppet questions, I have to confess that I'll usually post to this
list because of lack of time to go through all the documentation myself.
That's not to say that I haven't looked at the docs first of course. As I'm
sure you all realize, the docs and manpages often assume a prior level of
knowledge anyway and don't always include examples. The more you read, the
more confused you can become.
